This my first Eddie since the one I went to in 2005, where a couple of my friends and I cut school at Kahuku and hitchhiked to Waimea. I’ll never forget the image of flea falling from the top of the peak down 40 feet to get pounded. I was sure I just witnessed someone die. This time, almost 20 years later it was an amazing day to share with my whole family. I, as did everyone, had real doubts that there were gonna be any sizable waves this year. I’m glad we were wrong.
